Tuesday Oct 2

For Tuesday you DO NOT need to print. I will have you print this assignment at a later date if necessary. What you DO NEED is to have all your files uploaded to your Dropbox folder with the correct names and in the correct order before class tomorrow. This is how we will present so its important I have all your files on my computer before class time..

Your files need to be named just as the examples are listed below (except with your last name):

01_DixonC_sourceimage.jpg (I added this requirement, just export, from Illustrator your source image (collage) layer, with no transparency, as it looked originally. MAKE SURE TO RESET YOUR SOURCE IMAGE TRANSPARENCY BACK TO WHAT IT WAS BEFORE EXPORTING THE IMAGES FOR THE OTHER LAYERS)
02_DixonC_extlines01.jpg
03_DixonC_schema01.jpg
04_DixonC_schema02.jpg
05_DixonC_schema03.jpg
06_DixonC_schemacombined04.jpg
07_DixonC_tracing01.ai
08_DixonC_tracing01.dxf

It is important that they are named this way because it affects the presentation. We want each of your files to appear on the projector how I presented the examples to you, so each different layers is shown as a progression and we can compare layer to layer.

When saving your files as a JPG, leave the source image layer "ON" (the layer that contains your collage) for each of the layers. It should look just like the examples do. You DO NOT need to leave the extension lines on for each layer. It is only necessary to leave the extension liens on when you are exporting your extension lines layer and your combined schema layer.
