After viewing the "Local Distance" video, research a building of your choice, be selective when choosing your building based on information and elements you are able to find. You will want to select a building with lots of images, floor plans, sections, conceptual images, perspectives, models, and other types of media.
You can find images from books or online sources. You are required to find between 5 - 15 images of that one building. While finding (scanning) images, pay close attention to materials, details, shadows lines, textures, patterns, etc.
Recommend against using information from periodicals or magazines or periodicals because material may be limited. You must write down the call number for any book that you use. Use scanners to record media from books. Save all found images to a specific folder and come to next class with all images already found.
Do no use building from any previous assignment this semester. Choose only one building. Only one student per building.
Do your best to find and save images that are as close to 1000 x 1000 or greater if possible.
